Last post topic: How will you continue to prepare for the GHSGT? Tell how you'll prepare for the Social Studies, English Language Arts, Science, and Math portions of the test. Response due by Sunday, 12/12.
To prepare for the GHSGT I will continue to do practice benchmarks and games on USA Testprep. For the Social Studies, English Language Arts, Science, and Math portions of the GHSGT I plan to pay more attention in class and practice on USA Testprep. Hopefully USA Testprep will help me better understand some problem areas I might have.
ReplyDeleteI will continue to prepare for the GHSGT by reviewing the material I need to know for the test. The only class I'm worried about is Social Studies and Scienece because those are my weakest areas. Also, I have both of those classes this semester and the test is next semester. So, I will find material on my own or ask my teachers for material. For instance, with Social Studies I will keep up with the word of the day, vocabulary of the day, and benchmarks even though I am not in the class. I have math next semester so I will be working on what I need to know for the test then, and my English class is year long. The biggest thing for English was the writing test so I'm not to much worried about that part. So, overall I am somewhat prepared but its still a lot of stuff that i have to do before March.
ReplyDeleteTo prepare for the GHSGT I will continue to practice and review on games on USA Testprep. I will pay more attention in class and study more.I hope all the studying and reviewing, will help me to understand some areas that i might have a problem in.

ReplyDeleteToday i found out that i made a 193 on the social studies test. That really sucks! I've did all i can do to prepare myself for this test. However i seem to be improving each time.I will continue to study study study! I HAVE TO PASS THIS TEST! Mrs.Copeland,I appreciate the one on one talks and isolated time in the media center. It hepled me improve.
I will prepare myself for the GHSGT by studying more and continue doing benchmarks and playing the games on USA Test prep because it helps me understand more. For the math part I'll have to pay more attention in class and get more focused
ReplyDeletei will study more, stay foucsed, be postive, do my best to stay out of trouble. I will practice more listen more and be willing to learn more
ReplyDeleteI will continue to study all my material that I have. Also I will continue to have a postive attuide and keep trying my best. I will study more material and play games to help my study. I will continue to put my best foot forward to succeed in school and too focus more.
ReplyDeleteBasically, to prepare for the GHSGT I am doing a lot of games and benchmarks on USA test prep. As we started doing the test for your class, it made me want to go out and do test for the other subjects. Also, I am paying close attention to each assignment that we do and trying to pick out the things that they would probably put on the test. You can also go back and look at things that you learned throughout the years that you have been in school because sometimes you may not get to something but you may have learned it some years before.
ReplyDeletei will stay focus and do my work more and practice more at home and in the classroom
ReplyDeletei will look over my note more noe that i will not be in some of these classes anymore and until then i will pay more attention and listen and do practice test on line.
ReplyDeleteBy paying attention in class going back over old notes, benchmark tests and the other stuff we worked on in the past and ask the teacher for more help if needed
ReplyDeleteto prepare for the GHSGT i will review over my notes, pay attention in the classes that i will still have, and also review over the tests that i did in mrs.copeland's class.
ReplyDeletei should study very hard and avoid peer pressure? and do not let anyone entertain me looool!!!!so i can be succesful!!!! in life and on the test!!!!!!!!1 like i did on the writen test!!!!!!!!!!ayyyyyyyyeeeeeeee
ReplyDeleteMore than anything I'll pay more attention in class and begin to study notes and work from this year and last. I'll also do some benchmarks on usatestprep to help get me ready for the GHSGT.
ReplyDeleteIN ORDER TO BE FULLY PREPARED FOR THE GHSGT I MUST REVIEW ALL MATERIALS FOR EACH COURSE I HAVE. THE ENGLISH TEST SHOULDN'T BE SO HARD SO BECAUSE THE HARDEST PART WAS THE WRITING TEST. BUT IN THE END I'M SOMEWHAT PREPARED ALREADY
ReplyDeleteI will continue preparing fot the GHSGT by going over & studying the things I need to. For all the subjects I will go over all the work I did & was given to prepare for them as well. I will study very hard to suceed.
ReplyDeleteI still have all my notes from my freshman and sophomore year so i over the the next few months im going to review my notes so i can refresh my memory with all the stuff i need to know to pass the GHSGT. Ill probably work on USA Test Prep more and do activities and benchmarks on each subject. I wanna be ready for the test and i wanna exceed on it.
ReplyDeleteMy goal to prepare for the GHSGT is to use Usa testprep for the games, my past notes, and what i already know.Only thing i'm worried about is the history and science part. The other parts i'm not too concerned with because i was told by a variety of people including teachers and my councelor; if i passed all my Eoct's and fail the graduation test, i can still graduate. And i did just that in math and language arts. That's why i'm not worried about those parts as much.

ReplyDeleteI'll look over my notes for each class and do a little reviewing on here as well.I'm not worried at all about it though because almost everybody passes and the only subject I have problems with is math.I heard tho that the math section isnt that hard and its just basic stuff, but I'll still need to review that...so i will.I've also heard from alot of people that theres a question on there that has to do with shapes.Like one year it was "what shape is the world?" and like last year it was like "what shape is your refridgerator?".so yeah...not too worried but I will prepare none the less.
i have already taken the graduation tests and passed. for me all i had to do was come to school, and do my work. if you do all of your work and study you will do great on your grad test
ReplyDeletein the long run i am going to just keep getting work done and doing what i need to do. i know as long as i do that then i am going to do straight on the test. studying is the key to passing test so i am going to study and try to do the best i can.
ReplyDeleteIn order to prepare for the ghsgt, i will study hard. I will read brochures that help with the preparation. I believe that studying is the only key to passing the graduation test. I am glad that i passed the writing portion but now i have to better preare myelf for the other portions.
ReplyDeletei actually go over my notes and try to concentrate as much as possible in class and try to focus as much as possible since all the information i can get will help me in the test.
ReplyDeleteTo prepare for social studies i will continue to play games on usatestprep, but to prepare for the other subjects i wont really prepare because I am very ready for those subjects. Mrs. Copeland can you please send me Usa test Prep's so that i can succeed on my social studies portion?
ReplyDeleteIn order to prepare for the Georgia High School Graduation Test in Social Studies, I will look over all of my question and word of the days as well as go over all the questions on USATESTPREP. I will definitely look over all of the questions I miss and gain a clear understanding of what the question was asking and why I didn't know it or misunderstand. Social Studies is the only core class I have this semester. I have Literature year round, so I'll be able review in there with my teacher. I'll be up to date on Science and Math as well because I have those next semester too. I'm sure we're going to have the week of review before the test is administered, so that will be helpful as well. We've been going to school our whole lives in order to pass this test, so we should all be prepared for what's coming. We've talked to people who have already taken it, so we have a pretty clear picture of what we're getting ourselves into to.
ReplyDeleteI will still continue to prepare for the graduation test by reviewing all my notes from the 9th grade. The only two parts im worrying about is science and social studies. Im not to strong in those two cagetories. I would review by doing usa test prep benchmark and the games to play. By time it get here i should be prepared for it.
ReplyDeleteIn order to be fully prepared for the GHSGT i will review my notes and powerpoints we have done. English isnt that hard to me. Math i will have to stay forcused on and also science but i will prepare myself for it. I will continue to do test of USATESTPREP for all my classes so i can get ready for the GHSGT.
ReplyDeleteWell, I can read over the old questions and words of the day for the Social Studies part. That will be the easiest part for me beacause that is my best subject. I'm terrible at Science and Math so I'll have to really review those two and my mom used to be an English teacher so I'm good there too. The only thing that I'll really study for is math and science and I know that if I study for that then I shouild do pretty darn good.
ReplyDeletei will study what we went over in class!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI will prepare for the graduation test by switching schools actually. The only class i learned anything was in yours Ms.Copeland :) ....... Besides that I try to come to class next semester (whichever school I end up at) with better breakfast and sleeping habits. Maybe this way I can absorb more knowledge.
ReplyDeleteIf I'm being honest, my best bet is to pay attention in class, and do my work. Studying or doing benchmarks online don't really help me all that much, I remember it long enough to mark the answer down, and then it's gone within a week most of the time. I feel that if I pass my classes with fairly high grades, I will pass my tests with fairly high grades.
ReplyDeleteTo prepare for the GHSGT, I will be continuously doing benchmark tests and reading and taking plenty of notes. I am very worried about the History and Science part of the test. They are my weakest subjects. The more I think about how close the time for the test is coming, stresses me out more and makes me concerned on if I am going to do well. I am not too worried about English/Language Arts or Math. They are my stronger subjects in school. I am glad at the fact that I have had History and Science this year because I have learned things about them and I won’t have to crunch a lot of information together in a short amount of time before I take the test. I will have more time to study for those subjects, unlike math. Math I have next semester and I am not worried about the subject on the GHSGT but I am concerned about the new material I will be learning and if it will be covered on the test. English I have no worries about at all. I will just continue to work hard in school, take notes, ask questions, and take practice tests. I will also continue to pray that I do well on the test so that I can have a successful life and I completing that test will be one of the greatest achievements in my life. :)
ReplyDeletefor me to pepare for the GHSGT i will study play the given games that are assignments hopes try to follow on notes.
