Self-Evaluation
For your comment this week: Are you satisfied with your grade? Why or why not? What choices have you been making that have contributed to your grade? If you have been making good choices, explain how those have contributed to your good grade. If you are not pleased with your grade, describe the choices you have been making that may be having a negative impact on your grade. How can you change your choices to be more successful in World History?

Well in the process of writing a book, I deleted everything on accident.
ReplyDeleteBut any who, I am very pleased with my grade in this class! I am in the 55min class, so it's a little harder to learn so quickly. I have been putting forth a lot of effort in this class, I can be honest and I can actually say I do my Homework in this class. And as a reward I was gotten extra Copeland Coupons!!!
Self Evaluation:I am satisfied with my grade,because that is the grade I earned.The choices I've made that contributed to my grade are me not studying like I should.My lack of studying is having a negative affect on my grade.To more successful in World History I will need to study more often.
ReplyDeleteIm am satisfied with my grade, i would like to pull it up. I am getting alot of information from all the projects we are doing. It helps me alot to actually write it down and learn more about each topic than just reading and doing worksheets. I try to put as much effort as i can into this class even though its the first class of the day, i do pay attention and i get all my work done even if its a little sloppy.
ReplyDeleteIm satisfied with my grade.I like to think I do my part.I admit I think I havent done as much this week so far though.I've been very tired and sleepy so I feel kind of bad for slacking...I'm trying to get more sleep though so I can step it back up.

ReplyDeleteOf course I'm satisfied with my grade, its off the charts! However, I am concerned with if I will be able to keep my grade where it is for the entire year. I have fixed my work schedule, and am now focusing during every day of class. I am going to increase my work ethic, and hoping it allows my grade to stay parked where it is.I look forward to a great year in Ms. Copeland's class and am ready to step up to the plate.
I am currently satified with my grade because I believe that it is high at the moment,and if I work hard then it will continue to improve. What I put into the class is what I will get out of the class, therefore I can't slack at this point. I also realize that the work will only get tougher as the semester goes by. I have made good decisions pertaining to my grade therefore the outcome is rewarding. However, I do intend to bring up my collaboration as well. Collaboration is kind of hard to me because I can only work with certain people, and if I'm not with someone that is serious about their work then I rather ride solo. The choices I make have an effect on how I am doing in this class. Although my grade is high overall, there is still some room for improvement in the other small areas [For example: COLLABORATION].
ReplyDeleteAs of right now I don't know my grade but from progress reports, It wasn't good. Sometimes, I just zone out in class and don't pay attention, and the fact I'm in the short class that lasts barely 50 minutes, I'm basically setting myself up to fail by not paying attention.

i feel like i can do better my grade's. i must admit i came in playing at first but now im tryin my best to get my work done and pass this class and to get to class on time. i can put more effort in my work and ask more questions so i will get a better understanding and pass this class
ReplyDeleteWell I personally disagree with my with my class grade, it is to low and I'll try to do my best this week so I can bring it up to where I'm satafied, now I'll have to pay extra attention in class and do projects on time.
ReplyDeleteSo far my grades are at what they need to be for now, but in the future I would like to see my grades improve much more. I am going to try my best to push myself and and hopefully by doing that my work ethics would have improved much more.But in Mrs. Copeland I can say that I am not worried about her grade,because my grade in her class is excellent.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty satisfied with my grades. I think I'm doing really well in this class. I love social studies, it's my best subject. I do all my work & I try to exceed in the amount you want us to have, but sometimes I do average work. I really want to come out of this class with a high "A". I think if I work hard, I'll get that "A" too. :]
ReplyDeleteI'm satisified with my grade with where it is right now,but I don't have any room to slack up and make any bad grades because if I did I would end up with a grade that I wouldn't be proud of of what I had worked for.I pay attention in class and do all of my work.I'm a huge helper on my projects.I'm right where I need to be right now in this class with my grade.
ReplyDeleteI am not at all sastisfied w/ my grade.I think i have been doing pretty good in this class,however i have studying trying to get ready for my ghsht retake.Sorry for the lack of effort but pbl doesn't really sit well w/ me.

ReplyDeleteHonestly, Mrs.Copeland i am not very ecstatic about my written communication grade but my OVERALL is pretty high so i'll live. Hard work and determination is what has my grade as a 96 because that is the highest i've had in a social studies class since last year....Also i think if i contintue arguing with my partner so much my grade with HEAVILY DECREASE so im going to have to stop that ASAP.
ReplyDeleteI am satisfied with my grade in this class. I think it could get better, but at the moment it will do. I have plenty of time to bring it up. All the work that I complete is probably the reason i have this grade now. I think that the reason it's not "up there" is because sometimes I don't turn in work on time and because of the test. I'm not really a studying type of person, I like to master things by learning it in class. You really can't learn things in class because we are always doing projects. I really don't like PBL because you can't learn much from it when each group is doing a topic on something different and we don't get together as a class to discuss what we did. All we do is do the projects and turn them in, not really taking the time out to learn the stuff.

ReplyDeletei am stasfied with my grade becasue i believe i put forth the effort i need to get the results that i want to achieve although im not all that excited about PBL beacuse too many projects stress me out and cause me not too have alot of sleep. i need too study more but its almost impossible to study if im always doing projects.
Self Evaluation: I am satisfied with my grade, although I'd like to pull it up to an A. I have been working harder on my work and taking more notes. I am pleased by doing good work and each week, I review my questions and words of the day so it can prepare me for the Graduation Test.

ReplyDeleteI am satisfied with my grade, because I know I have earned it. However, I also think that I can do better. The laptops have really helped me work on these projects, and it will help me maintain a good grade.
ReplyDeleteI am very pleased with my grade! I think that I am using efficient ways to study, and I am finishing things on time. I was starting to feel behind without a laptop for a while, but I feel like I am getting better now! I will continue to do things I know will help me so that I may maintain a good great in your class.
ReplyDeleteI am satisfied with my grade, because i know the way i am workin i earned it.But i know it can be a little higher in some area.Working with the laptop have made me get kinda off task,because instead of me doing my work i be on other websites.In the future i will get better and bring my grade up!I will study a little bit more for my test and quizes cause i know that i can do better.
ReplyDeleteI am satisfied with my average. I have put alot into my grade this 1st 9 Weeks. In my opinion, i havent put as much into the grade as i could. I believe that i have been making good decisions, but i could be making better decisions. I intend to strive for better decisions in the following 27 weeks.

ReplyDeleteI am extremely happy with my grade in your class. I am actually kind of shocked that it's so high, but I am very proud as well, because I worked harder than I've ever worked to keep it as high as it is. I make sure I turn in all of my projects and work on time to get the best grade possible. I pay attention to be sure I don't miss any important information. I manage my time wisely and stay focused in class as well as working at home on certain projects. I make sure I am well prepared for a test or quiz by taking notes and looking up extra information on our new laptops. I am sure to stay on task at all times and I try not to get distracted by people in the class or other websites. I work diligently to get all my work done and turned in on time. :)

ReplyDeleteI am satisfied with my grade in world history. I make sure that my work is turned in on time and do my best to find all the information on my projects that I can. I think that you've recognized that I work hard on my projects, but I also attempt to make my group members do work too. By me working this hard, I am learning more about history and enjoying the projects :)
ReplyDeleteI am not satisfied with my grade at all. Lately, I have been working below my means. I am actually a very hardworking student but Im not good at fast changes. This project base learning system is very new for me. I not very good with deadlines and due dates. I am slowly adjusted to this new system of learning but i know that its not going to happen over night. I just hope that I improve before it is to late.

ReplyDeleteI am not satisfied with my grade. But i know i can do better i know an "B" is great but it's not great for me. I know i can get an "A" by the time im out your class. I havent been working as hard as i can but i know if i want to keep an good grade i have to work extra hard, when i step in your class on tuesday afternoon.
ReplyDeleteI am pretty satisfied qith my grades so far. I think I have worked a great amount of time getting the grades I deserve. In some classes I think its hard to focus because all of my friends are in there but I still do well in there. I am trying my hardest to get good grades even though it is a little hard because im busy all the time with my job. I still try to make good grades.

ReplyDeletea lot to it. Along with handing in my work on time,work ethic and participation. these choices contribute to my grade cause they take a geat percent to come upwith my overall average. I can do better by time management and puttin more effort in my work.

ReplyDeleteI'm pretty satisfied with my grade. I work fairly hard in this class, but I don't ever overwork myself. I have had to a few times due to lousy groups, but not often.
